Yesterday the boy and I crossed the vast sands of Santa Monica while Jonny was skating the OG spot. I took off his shoes and eventually his shorts and shirt and we ran in the water and let the waves touch our toes. Today, I came more prepared with his swimmers on so he could play more freely. Here is the video I got of him playing in the ocean. I didn't put any music to it because I like to hear the sound of the waves and his squeals of joy. I think this is the moment I will think of when I am having a hard day at work or it is just one of those dreary, rainy Vancouver days… I will remember this:
It costs 30 000Rp for half an hour to use the computer at this hotel! I pay like 2 000 back by my old place. It bugs me that it is so expensive... but I guess I am paying for convenience. I am stuck. Everyday is getting better and today is off to the doctor. It will be Sam's first time meeting Dr. Brown! Today at 12 is also the last day of my antibiotics! Sam is making me ask the doctor if I can have beer... there will always be that double standard! He is taking care of his sister.. but come on.. I had a screw put in my ankle I deserve a beer!!
