One, two, THREE... WHISTLER

Christian's third birthday in Whistler:
Here we go... driving the Sea to Sky

Arriving in Whistler and checking out all the lights.

We stayed at the Executive Inn this time. We liked it.

That is our balcony. We had a cool view of the village and the mountain.

I think this is mom's view from The Hilton?

Friday night at the Spaghetti Factory.

Rob, Lynn, Austin, and Tyler's huge spot at the Black Bear? or Blackcomb Lodge.

Lynn playing Zombie with Christian.. so awesome!

View from our balcony. That is Rob and I down there.

 Morning patio.

We went swimming in our pool. I didn't get a picture. It was outdoor and I thought we would be in and out of there but it was so warm... and so hard to get out.. because it was so cold.... we were in there for two hours!! Christian learned to put his face under water and look for me. We played lots of games... it was so beautiful and the sun was shining.

We found some snow - with a snow tunnel!! (It was pretty hard snow though)

Visiting grandma and papa - grandma wasn't feeling well today -we have to take care of grandma!!

 This helps a lot.

 Balloons!!!

Jonny and I chilling at a Fire Table - good memory :-)

Looks like someone ate some fries!! Fry face.

Rob and Lynn are always down to Fire Table - I mean.. this was the best spot in Whistler.. for straight chilling.

Thomas the Train TV

 Mom and Dad's pool view.

This is the first time he really ripped open presents and went crazy. It was pretty funny - he had a great time. (Thanks Lynn for the wrapping paper and tape - he had a lot of fun with the wrapping paper roll "killing" us the night before.)

Austin and Tyler were a big help opening all the toys.

Mint Oreo ice cream cake - everyone likes mint (except Jonny - but he had beer)

 "Are you beautiful grandma?"

 Everyone got a birthday hug.

And we out! Birthday done.. for both of us.

 Good morning juice.

 Look at my old man.

Christmas tree at Grandma and Papa's

Our group shots... glad we did this.. hahaha!!

Thanks for coming to Christian's birthday - you all made it special!! Jonny and I appreciate it. Love you!

Vegas Annibirthversry Days: May 16 - 20, 2013 - The Boy's First Flight

My birthday started on Wednesday when we were still in Vancouver. Jonny, Christian, and I went for a walk and chill. Jonathon got his hairs trimmed up and we sat at a couple of different city spots and enjoyed the different flavours and views. Somewhere along our travels we lost Sophie the giraffe and wish her well in her new life. I envision her with a cute little puppy squeaking happily. Christian's new favourite things to put in his mouth are water bottles.... and... Gatorade bottles...  At one of our chill spots Jonny gave me my birthday presents... I scored! I also won ten bucks on crossword scratch and wins. It was a great day that started with swimming and ended with beers with G in Gastown. None of it was planned it just was one of those nice sunny I am leaving for Vegas on my birthday tomorrow days.  The next morning came too soon. A hang over is never fun and it is even less fun with a baby that wakes up and is ready to go and is smiling at you an...

California Toddler Tripping: Vancouver - Langley - Seattle - Seaside

We knew that road tripping with a toddler wasn't going to be always pleasant - but we also knew that it would be way better than being on a plane - at least with our toddler. Christian is one and a half on this trip and just like last year he went through some new changes just to mess with us. Luckily, we are a powerful team and we were able to overcome these challenges … so far!  Our journey started in Vancouver. We stopped at the skate park to drop off used shoes and decks. Some kid is going to be happy. (or bum?)  Next stop: Langley! We had a visit with Grandma and Grandpa. I love this picture :-)  Christian likes Grandpa's cars - watch out!  Next stop: Seattle!  Light rail to the Crab Pot.  The Crab Pot - we made it and we ATE it!  Christian is scoring with the toys on this trip. Now I really understand why I got new toys when my parents took us on road trips!  Sunset Seattle squirm time. ...
